I had a terrible experience with bad hair extensions placed at another salon, I contacted urban salon asking if they could possibly help. They got back to me in less than 24 hours, and scheduled me to come in within 3 days! They worked for almost 5 hours on my hair and completely fixed someone’s else’s mess and I am now in love with my hair. Tamala and Katherine were so kind and helpful, validating my concerns with my extensions. Amazing and super friendly staff, even the girls that weren’t working on my hair all seemed so sweet. Highly recommend anyone at urban salon 🙂

Beautiful interior & perfect spot in downtown Murphy. Unfortunately, I did not have a pleasant experience. I had my roots done 3x by two different women. My 1st visit, the color lasted the usual 3-4 wks before my gray started showing. On my 2nd visit, I had my roots done by a different employee. I had to return the very next day to have them done again as it looked as if I never had it done. (It’s very dark in the salon, so it’s difficult to see the roots on dark hair). I was told she was putting on a “stronger” hair color. But, within 2 wks, my grays were back as if my hair was never colored. I chalked it up to the weather being cold. My next appt. the exact same thing happened. In a wks time, it was as if I never had it colored. When I questioned the stylist about this, she was very defensive & said it must be my new hair growth. I’ve had my hair colored for over 15 yrs, and I’ve never had my grays come through so quickly even w/washing every day (which I did not do now). I even asked about the color time, brand, etc. Was made to feel very uncomfortable and doubted. I’m not a hair color expert by any means, but I have been going somewhere else now, and it’s been 4 wks and only a few grays showing. So. . .
