I took the piercing course through the Toronto Tattoo School and Justin was a great teacher! Everyone at the shop was really friendly and I felt very welcome. I couldn’t supply a volunteer to pierce, but they were able to bring in 19 volunteers to practice on. Over all, I’d say it was a great learning experience and I would highly recommend the Toronto Tattoo school to anyone looking to get into the industry.

I recently took a 5-day tattoo course at this tattoo school and it was one of my best experiences! Justin, Rob and the entire staff were very friendly, professional and caring and I learned a lot from them. Justin, a very cool guy and my great teacher helped every moment and explained everything throughout the course. And he also always makes sure you get the right step. Also the owner, Rob, always offered the best advice and he is very professional in his job.

I just took the 3 day piercing course. By the end of the course, I felt confident in my ability to offer body piercing.
Justin, Summer, and Rob were very friendly and helpful. I learned a lot from Justin about technique, preparation, and Public Health requirements. It’s reassuring to know that I can always call Justin when I have any questions.
I was able to do 9 piercing, and now I’m certified.

Justin, my instructor, provides all the knowledge you need to get started, taught everything in great detail! always has something to offer,helps,with a great sense of humor, and even after graduation is always in touch! as well as Rob, the director always lets you see how he works, also gives hints and is always ready to answer all your questions! I just finished the 5-day fundamentals course with Justin. It’s a well-structured progression through the foundation of what you need to know to start your journey in tattooing. Justin is a cool guy, and you can tell right away that he cares genuinely about your success, and wants to make sure you get the right start. Rob, the owner, will often be there tattooing his clients and is happy to let you watch, answer your questions, and offer advice. Keep in mind though that nobody masters anything after 5 days. The course is an intro, but you will need to practice, refine, practice, refine and then practice some more before you can begin to feel like you can call yourself a legit tattooer. This course shows you how to practice the right techniques and skills. As a friend of mine likes to say, “Practice does not make perfect. Practice makes permanent. Perfect practice makes perfect.” Justin will make sure your practice is perfect. Then it’s up to you.
