Great place to get a tattoo. Clean and professional. Hannah did a fantastic job incorporating the Hawaiian islands inside a lizard design. My plan is to have additional islands colored red as we visit them. I highly recommend Tattoo HQ.

Fantastic experience! Jedi was so professional and my tattoo is amazing. The place was super clean and inviting! Jedi worked fast and efficiently. He is really kind and funny. He made the whole experience 10/10! The other tattoo artist were great too. At times, all of the artists and customers were interacting with each other and having a blast. Most importantly – my tattoo is phenomenal and I would highly recommend Tattoo HQ!

If you’re looking to get tattoo’d on the Big Island, START HERE.

I did all the research I could on studios in Kona, where there are several all over the west side of the island. Reached out to many about inquiries on flash AND custom pieces.

Not only did Ryan at Tattoo HQ get back to me right away, he helped connect me to his other artist Hannah (also amazing at communication) and I’m not exaggerating– TATTOO HQ has the NICEST artists. Not just nice. TALENTED. Talked with me about the pieces I was getting to make sure they were perfecter than perfect. Good artists will tattoo what you want; GREAT artists are going to do that AND MORE, and the 3 (yes THREE) pieces I got from Ryan and Hannah are BETTER THAN I IMAGINED they could be!

I could go on and on and on and on and on about this place. I’m ALREADY planning future Hawaii trips around getting MORE TATTOOS from HQ!

My daughters and I had a great experience at tattoo HQ. Jedi was amazing! He came in on Christmas to do our tattoos so we could have them before we headed back to Michigan. A sea turtle, a hammerhead shark, and Ohana with a hibiscus flower added to my anchor. The shop was extremely clean and the time and detail Jed put into our tattoos were unmatched. He listened to our ideas and offered suggestions to enhance the design but never pushed us to do anything other than what we wanted. Our best tattoos yet! If we are ever back we will return there for sure.
