Studs King Street was a absolute blast! The studio is super clean and fresh. Love bright colors and atmosphere. They were well staffed and I was greeted quickly and set up for my piercing. Once forms were filled out the lovely girl behind the counter 9/3/23 around 3 pm helped me pick out super cute jewelry and also explained that my piercing artist would also do a consultation with me because not every piercing is for everyone! My artists name was Aria. She was a absolute doll! Offered me water, took her time explaining what I could and could not do. Helped me breathe through the process and also shared some awesome gems about her journey as a piercing artist. We even tried a old hole I thought had closed and boom I came home with three pieces and i was beaming with the outcome. I am not from the area I currently live up north in Philly and let me tell you I am so glad this flashed across my Instagram, I’m so grad I jumped up from my hotel and ran over because the experience made my day. When I travel back to Charleston I will be back! Awesome,Awesome,Awesome!

Only going here from now on!! A very kind girl named Aria did my flat helix for me and I love it so much. The needle piercing hurts less than any piercing I’ve gotten and everything is so so sterile! The piercing jewelry is yet to tarnish and as a swimmer this is so amazing to have! I have not reacted to the implant grade titanium at all and will definitely be getting earrings from here when I downsize. All the staff are very kind and helpful and overall this was an amazing experience and I recommend Studs to all my friends and family!!

Was on vacation decided to get my ears re-pierced. They were quick at getting me in but after I got my lobes pierced my left earring was facing so far outward that you couldn’t see the stud looking straight on and could only see the hardware. I asked the piercer why it was so off compared to the other ear and all she said was “that’s because of your anatomy of your earlobe. It has nothing to do with the piercing.” (I know this isn’t true because I had my ears pierced before and they always sat flush) Went to another piercing store down the street and they said she went in at an angle and that is why it is sitting that way. They recommended I take the one earring out and let it heal for 3 weeks and then get it re-pierced. Fast forward two weeks and I see a piercing place around home and they looked at my one ear that I left the earring in (the one that I thought was decent) and were like “ummm, the angle on this one is also messed up but instead of it being horizontal messed up it is vertically wrong.” They showed me a picture of the back of my ear where the piercing was coming out and it was so high in the back and low in the front. They had me take that earring out and said to come back in 2 weeks and they will pierce me for free because they felt so bad for me.
