Slouch is a hidden gem!!! Before finding this tattoo shop, I had always had a “grin and bear it” mentality about receiving tattoos because I had always received them in tattoo parlors where I felt uncomfortable, and just accepted that getting a tattoo would always be that way.
I got a tattoo from Erin Canady @quiethours and her space in the studio was so tranquil, and lovely. I actually felt relaxed and was able to enjoy the experience and our conversation. Even though my tattoo took a couple hours, I never felt that fatigue I’ve had at other shops because she checked in often about taking breaks and to make sure I was doing okay. Slouch has raised the bar for me in what I expect from tattoo shops now, and I hope they get the attention they deserve for their talented artists and also their uniquely peaceful environment.

Super clean, welcoming, and affirming space. My artist Thrush (Porknap) did an amazing job interpreting my idea and creating a sick tattoo. They made me feel comfortable and they were really chill to work with throughout the whole process. Will definitely be coming back to get another piece done by Porknap and maybe book with some other artists there in the future because all their work is unique and you can tell they really care about the comfort of their clients.

Jake is an amazing tattoo artist!! They meticulously designed my tattoos and were thorough in making sure it was what I wanted. They are really attentive to detail and they make the entire experience welcoming, comfortable, and pleasant. I can not say enough amazing things about them!

I had an appointment with cardboard couch. I drove in from out of town (only about a 2 hr drive) but planned my trip around the appointment. It was cancelled day of, a few hours prior, with minimal communication about if rescheduling while I was in town would be possible. I was refunded for my deposit after a week. I was disappointed and confused with the lack of communication and professionalism from the artist. If you’re not local, traveling might not be worth it. I was excited for the tattoo and to see the shop, and it was just a disappointing experience over all.

Beautiful space/gallery/studio! Very welcoming atmosphere and people. My artist (Lauren) did an amazing job and was intentional and present throughout the entire experience. Highly recommend!!!
