This was my first tattoo experience and James did an amazing job! His studio was very clean and the overall experience was great! He was very informative through the initial booking all the way to the appointment date. The aftercare instructions are detailed and easy to understand. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for a high quality tattoo and great artist!

Several years ago I came across James Samaniego. As soon as I saw James intricate work I knew he was the one for my first tattoo. Three tattoos later I am still amazed at his work which seems to get better with time.
When my 18 year old son informed me he wanted a meaningful tattoo prior to joining the military I knew exactly who to go to. We both decided to get a father and son tattoo which James was able accommodate us on the day. After a few hours on the table, the end result was nothing short of amazing.
I can’t recommend James strongly enough. He is a true artist you can trust.

James has amazing attention to detail and his linework is the best in Texas, if not the best in the country! His designs are personalized for each customer and not at all generic. The shop is sparkling clean and private which makes for a great session. I am so lucky my trip to Houston coincided with an opening on his calendar so I could have an absolute work of art of my skin. Thanks again for everything, James, I will be back at some point!

He was honest in giving his experienced opinion on what would look and age best for the piece I wanted and always responded quickly to all my emails leading up to my appointment.
