I searched all over Manila for a good tattoo artist and I ended up going with Dr. Joko. Right now my tattoos are currently healing so I will post pictures later, but let me say. This mans talent is exceptional, easily one of the best tattoo artists I have ever seen. While there I went 5 days and went about 30 hours in sessions. All of it surpassed my highest expectation 10 fold. Not only is he truly passionate about his work.. He is kind, humble, and genuinely appreciates his craft. I had plenty of time to speak with this man and he is now probably my favorite Filipino person on the planet. Very accommodating, has great goals and a beautiful story. He has morals and extended his kindness daily. Another thing to mention, being a foreigner it is obvious that other artists in the country would charge higher prices. Joko agreed to give me fair prices and disagrees with the practice of upselling. Everyone else I went to attempted to charge me double for work not nearly as impressive. This man is going places, get the work now while you still can. Tell him Torey says Hello!

I had a fantastic experience! Dr Joko was a very personable and easy going artist. Very professional and a pleasure to work with. I was a bit difficult with my design at first and then completely changed it and it was no issue he was happy to continue to work with me. He had a very clean and comfortable setup. If you check out his Instagram you can see he does great work and I’m very happy with my piece! I’ll definitely come back to get more work done.
