I scheduled a cover up for a regretful tattoo I’ve gotten and was able to get it fully covered up with a sleeve. Terry will work with you on what you want to get your cover up done with and will do a hand drawn mock up of what will be done during the consultation. During the ink sessions Terry is expertly skilled and fast tattooer. Is overall skill and experience really show and pop with each of his work custom tailored to person to person giving a true feeling of one of a kind. Cannot express how happy I am with the overall outcome of this cover up and with HIGHLY recommend Terry at Remington Tattoo Parlor. I’m definitely going to come back now this is my go to place.
I came back to update my review because it’s been 5.5 years and I’m STILL getting compliments on this tattoo. I got an art nouveau tattoo designed by the owner a few years back. It’s aged beautifully and the colors are still vivid. Would definitely recommend!
I got a tattoo in the military in 29 palms and I’ve never been satisfied with it…and it was my chest centerpiece. I contacted a few local shops in PB and went in. No one would cover up and their only solution was to re-outline it (worse than ideal).
As soon as I contacted this shop I was put in touch with Israel and he came up with a fantastic cover up that not only worked but also was a theme I wanted (patriotic). Israel was patient (been 12 years without ink) with breaks and tolerance levels. He was a perfectionist with placement (took a while but I rather have perfect that half hazard placement) and really worked with me on color and placement.
After 12 years of waiting I finally have the chest centerpiece I want. Don’t be intimidated by their wait times and get on Israels list if possible. I’ve had tattoos so around the country and in different countries and Israel was patient, gentle, and efficient. While I live in San Diego this will be my shop. Everyone is supportive and River, I assume the apprentice, was super cool.
Great vibes, incredible ink, and just an overall good experience.
