Fantastic market to purchase steamed seafood. They were very nice and fast! We have tried others in the area and Outland will be our go to moving forward.
Only 18 min from SNH where we are staying. Ordered same day during July 4th week, which is impressive.
Got little neck clams, #1 crabs 3 doz, 1 pound of shrimp (great price) and raw oysters – also a great price!! Highly reccomend.

Nice people! Great steamed shrimp with seasoning! I’m a person who disliked eating shrimp unless it was breaded. Their seasoned steam shrimp will change your mind! They also have all types of peanuts and different seasonings/sauces/snacks/souvenirs/fishing gear. Get the butter toffee peanuts and chocolate covered peanuts! They also recommended the sea salt peanuts and jalapeño peanuts!

What a great place. The guy working was super nice and answered our silly questions and gave some great opinions on what to get. I would 100% come back and next time I’ll get something other than just shrimp.

Be cautious! They sell dead crab to customers. I heard this store from my friends and thought they had good reputation. When I visit OBX for a trip, I marked their store as a must go place. I was extremely disappointed. I bought 6 crabs, I believed in them and didn’t check the crabs. There are three issues: 1. Three crabs have only one claw. This is fine. 2. Not all the crabs are the size they showed to me. Two of them are very small even smaller than legal size for NC salt water recreational limit. 3. Two of the crabs are dead and one of them stinks. It means the two crabs are dead and at least one is dead for a long time. I put them in a cooler with ice and the ice was still there when I arrived home. So the crabs must be already dead when they sold to me. This point is absolute unacceptable. $18 is not much to me but this should not be the way you treat your customers especially for someone who trust you.

Stop on the way home to get some blue crabs and shrimp the gentleman running the store was very helpful and knowledgeable even showed me and my wife how the blue crabs were molting. We drove 6hours home and everything was fine cooked the crabs today and they were great THANKS YOU Outland seafood for all the help and great crabs and shrimp.
