Been going to Brian for 11 years now, and probably done about 30 tattoos on me now, including a full color sleeve and a grey wash sleeve in progress.
I wouldn’t go anywhere else cause brian knows his stuff, stands behind his work and does a amazing job for a great price!

Space Ninjas (No Lemon Soldiers)
Got a fairly simple tattoo of a spaceman. Everything seemed ok until the next day. Brian’s a great guy but the red beetle product was working fine until the next day It seemed to be having some sort of reaction with the grey and black ink. Large areas of grey and black became raised and the entire tattoo felt like it was burning. Thanks to baking soda soaked paper towels I was able to pull whatever reaction was causing my skin to burn without messing up the overall pattern. Afterward I used Aquaphor and it did the same thing. I repeated the process and eventually figured out any product with petrolatum seemed to be reacting with this grey/black ink. Brian had mentioned he had issues with his artist Rob and he had left. I signed a waiver saying I wouldn’t hold the business accountable but I do need to say something. It looks like I got attacked by a veterinarian and there are callouses in the crook of my arm which was the hardest part to suck whatever burning hot sauce combination that ink and the red beetle/petrolatum products reacted with… Sorry Brian but you gotta know about it. You may have been sabotaged. I would get new inks and toss that red beetle. Perhaps just recommend non-petrolatum based moisturizer all together. As you can see it looks like it gave me callouses. It’s been about a week, Hopefully it will peel soon and all will be well. I have had 3 other pieces and never had this happen before. If any one else does though it would be good to know it takes lots of water and then a rag soaked with sodium bicarbonate to get the burning out, similar to a bee or wasp sting.
