Made an appointment with this guy named Alex Maxwell. He wanted me to get a floating navel belly button piercing that was way more expensive but that may go better with my anatomy. Which i understand but its my choice. I didn’t want that kind of piercing. Which also limits my jewelry choices and he told me he wasn’t gonna do it for me. After going there 3 times to try to get my piercing done. And I got turned down all 3 times. The second time it was 2 hours before closing and he told the lady at the front that he was done for the night. He made it seem like I had a choice between a regular piercing and a floating navel. But at the end of the day because I decided to go with the regular piercing he declined to do a regular piercing on me. So I guess there really wasn’t a choice. It was his way or no way. Even though we had an appointment and waited 15 minutes after the appointment time. I saved this money to get my own piercing done. And he made this first experience terrible for me and my mother. I don’t recommend going here for a piercing. It maybe a waste of time money and energy. We should be able to get whatever piercing we want on our bodys. Since when is piercings and tattoos regulated like this. This body art is supposed to be a way people can express themselves. And to do cool things with jewelry etc. And it should be what we want.

Alex Maxwell did an amazing job on my son’s piercing. The best experience I have ever had, including my own. He was very knowledgeable and really took the time to explain everything to us and make sure our questions were answered as well. My son says he didn’t even feel it at all. Highly recommend!

About 9-10 years ago I hit a point where I had 10 piercings in my face/ears all done by Tom at Subculturez. He left a great impression and became my go-to for the best quality piercings. Today, almost a decade later, I went back for my 11th. Tom wasn’t there today, but Kenny was and he took just as good care of me as Tom always did. Professional, accepting, and was happy to work with me on extremely meticulous placement to make sure the new piece lined up with an existing one.
I walked away today feeling confident both in the Subculturez standards that I remembered and in Kenny as another piercer I can reliably go to for excellent work.

I highly recommend Alex for piercings. He’s very knowledgeable on what works with your particular anatomy. Definitely a reputable and ethical piercer. He won’t just pierce something and take your money knowing it won’t heal well because of your specific anatomy.
