I can’t thank Douglas at Masterpiece Tattoo in Aruba enough for the amazing artistic work he did for me. Not only is he an incredibly talented artist, but he also went above and beyond to accommodate my request, despite being normally booked six months out. When I reached out to him about getting a tattoo to symbolize my time in Aruba, I was worried about finding an artist who could bring my vision to life.

Luckily, I came across Douglas, and from the moment I shared a picture of the breathtaking fofoti tree in a mesmerizing sunset, I knew I was in good hands. He truly captured the essence of that moment and recreated it perfectly on my arm. The attention to detail and the way he placed the tattoo in just the right spot made it even more special.

Throughout the whole process, Douglas was not only professional but also incredibly kind and patient. He took the time to understand what I wanted and made sure I was comfortable with the design before proceeding. His passion for his craft shone through, and I felt like he treated my tattoo as a work of art he was genuinely proud of.

Now, whenever I look at my arm, I am reminded of the beautiful memories I made in Aruba, thanks to the masterpiece that Douglas created. I feel privileged to wear his artwork, and I can’t recommend him highly enough to anyone looking for a talented and compassionate tattoo artist. After reviewing all the shops on the island, I went with Masterpiece. They did not disappoint. I requested a matching tattoo with my niece. Shop was very clean and artist was professional. We are super happy with the results!

We decided to get tattoos on our last day of vacation. The shop was extremely clean ! Dess did an amazing job on both of our tattoos. She was very professional and quite a talented artist! I would definitely recommend Masterpiece Tattoo! They made us feel very comfortable and they were super friendly! We will be back in August for another round!

I went here on my last day of vacation and had Dessline Loefstok as my artist. I was a little worried because it was my first international tattoo. (my 8th total) However, when I say that this was my least painful tattoo ever, I MEAN IT!!! She was truly amazing, she was light handed. I got a minimalist line work butterfly. The lines were so crisp and clean, I was truly shocked! My friend also got a small one on her ankle and she is prone to fainting during tattoos, Dessline helped calm her down and reassured her. She also had great music taste 😉 I HIGHLY recommend coming here and specifically asking for Dessline.(if that is the type of tattoo style you are looking for) This is the place to get a tattoo at if you are in Aruba!
