The absolute cutest tattoo shop I’ve ever been too, I’m obsessed with the dark aesthetic! This shop is incredibly professional, sterile & passionate compared to other shops I’ve been too. This review has nothing to do with Lacey’s artistic ability. Her personality was a zero during our short consultation. She was arrogant, rude and condescending. I basically just walked out. She made it very clear that she is so talented that her schedule is booked out until May/June 2024. Do yourself a favor and look around a bit for an artist that deserves your business.

Had a credit on file from years ago. Hundred dollar deposit but due to the owners attitude, lack of desire to work with her clients on design development, and how she conducts herself, decided not to get a tattoo with her. Was going through records years later and realized I still had a deposit on file, so I called and spoke with the owner requesting that the hundred dollar credit on file be converted into a gift card that I could give to a loved one so that they could receive a tattoo at her establishment ( seeing as it hadn’t been a good fit for me) and the credit wouldn’t go to waste.

She said she did not have records of that deposit and therefore would not issue any sort of gift card. I said you don’t keep records of your own transactions?

This is not the way to do business. There is no need to be condescending rude and combative. How do you stay in business when you act in this manner?

Avoid working with this artist… Save yourself the trouble.

**Update following response from owner—-
When someone is defensive right off the bat and combative, such as she was—this shows she sees herself as a victim. I spoke softly and clearly, and asked for help. This was met with accusatory tone and immediate resistance.

You could be the most talented artist in the world, but if your personality and customer service is abysmal, this will drive people away.

Others have had similar experiences with your place of business, as evidenced by your Google reviews. Time to look at the common denominator of these customer service issues: YOU.
