Awesome, very satisfied with my tattoo artist Jacob. If you need new ink I highly recommend him. I searched high and low for the best shop. I choose this one and he happened to be available when I walked in with my husband. No regret. In fact I went back for a second one from him. I promise you won’t be disappointed. He is awesome.

My 18 yr old and I wanted memorial tattoos so we went in to see Rachael. Rachael has done countless hours of work on me and I don’t trust anyone else. She knocked our tattoos outta the park! As usual – Rachael is the best.

(Sorry this is so long!! If you don’t want to read all this skip too the 2nd paragraph!!) I got a tattoo from Cali on April 19th 2024. It wasn’t my first tattoo from her, the first being a Friday the 13th flash. I was happy with the flash so I decided to book an appointment with her! The tattoo design I chose was a sword from the show Castlevania. It had a clear reference and even allowed for some artistic creativity which I encouraged Cali to explore. Day of the tattoo there was a slight miscommunication on what sword I wanted. The stencil of the tattoo was the wrong sword. I sent a picture of a sword tattoo that was NOT the one I wanted but had a design around the blade that I thought would maybe look cool. I explained this in the text sent right after it but I could see how it could get confused. I don’t fault Cali for the miscommunication but I think this is what led to everything else. My arm was already shaved and primmed before I was able to speak up about the wrong stencil due to my social anxiety. Cali asked me to send her the correct sword and she went and drew it up, printed it out, and put it on. The tattoo was done in about 30-45 minutes. I feel the whole process was rushed due to the miscommunication and the quality of the tattoo DEFINTLEY shows that. What makes matters worse is I booked a medium tattoo slot, which gave us 3-4 hours, so there was no reason for Cali to rush. The lines are uneven and blown out, the hilt top is a muddled mess, and the tip of the blade is bent. Cali never re-shaved the area of the tattoo for the new stencil so hair was tattooed over at the hilt. The hilt is also in the crook of my elbow causing it to bend with my arm. I’m partially to blame for this because I agreed to the placement. However, I think an artist that took their time would notice and have the stencil moved down slightly to avoid this. I reached out to the Ink Parlor telling them all this and asking for a full or partial refund. Cali then reached out to me basically saying that I was wrong about everything. She was completely unprofessional and rude, even making a jab towards the fact I chose an anime sword as a tattoo. She offered a free touch up from her or the owner, which I will not be taking.
DO NOT book with Cali. She’s rude, rushed, and unprofessional. I hate being mean but I don’t want anyone else to fall into the same situation as me. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars and not 1 is because I do believe there are other people at the Ink Parlor that deserve praise and money for their work.
(also I know this is crazy with the screenshots and all but I just want to be thorough)

This is a great shop, it’s clean and employees are friendly and willing to work with you. Ben Weas has been my main artist for about 8 years and he’s done most of my tattoos. He has awesome flash but he’s also really good at working with you to make your own designs work. His reworks of my designs are always 10 times better than what I was imagining. He’s been tattooing for a long time and it shows! My tattoos have been less painful than with artists at other shops, even larger ones. I just got a tattoo that took about 3 hours and I almost fell asleep. He works pretty quickly without sacrificing quality. I like that he uses old school machines. The tattoo in the pic is almost 8 years old and still looks amazing (it’s not crooked it’s just curved around my thigh). Highly recommend Ben and any other artist at this shop!
