Golden Monkey is the bizness. The owner is a delight, the artists are always very welcoming, and the new gift shop is AMAZING. They just opened a jewelry and crystal shop in the back, and I got my wife this BEAUTIFUL necklace, handmade by a local artist. The lady in the Gift Shop has over 20 years experience and is very knowledgeable. Definitely coming back to do my holiday shopping here.

I started coming here because of Van. He is a phenomenal tattoo artist and worth the drive from north austin for me. Van is extraordinarily talented and creative. I am half brown skinned and Van does a phenomenal job at getting ALL colors to pop on my skin tone. He is very professional and takes his job seriously. His creative insight is rare and one of a kind likely impossible to find elsewhere. Trust me if you want a tattoo done right go see Van at golden monkey

Alexandria tattooed yesterday and it’s been the best tattoo experience I’ve had yet! She’s light-handed, detail oriented, and a really nice human! Everyone I met there was really nice and had a good sense of humor too (which made the tattoo experience not as painful).The shop is really cute, clean and conveniently next to Radio Coffee! Just go!
