I’ve been here three times now. I’ve enjoyed my time here thus far, and can’t wait to be back. Nice, talented people here, working in a clean, welcoming place. Dusty Steeve has done 2 small pieces and 1 medium piece (pictured) and has nailed each one of them in his amazing style. I just had the chance to work with Unknown Liquids on a drawn on filler piece, and I’m already hyped to do more in the future. I’ll be back!

My artist is Tyler shults, he has been tattooing me for 3 years now and I’m looking forward to also trying out mikeys style sometime in the near future.
The shop that Mikey has built has the BEST atmosphere, culture, and creativity, I have seen in a shop in a long time. It’s very private, they ONLY do appointments so random people off the street can’t walk in while you are on the table. It is also a very clean environment, and they offer snacks and drinks to guests and music plays to help you focus. Tyler uses saniderm for the healthing process (best way to go), and his work is just so clean, original, and eye appeasing. He really cares about his trade and work. Make your appointment today! You cannot convince me there’s a friendlier, more welcoming tattoo shop than Golden Heart. Just had my second tattoo by Mikey (IG @mikeyrocksvdc) and first one at the new shop. Both times he’s tattooed me he’s made sure I was comfortable and had a positive experience. I was unsure of the size and placement I wanted, but Mikey was patient and made sure the tattoo fit my vision. Super proud of the new space he’s built at GH. Will be back for sure.
