I was in San Diego for a few months for work and had been wanting a custom piece. After browsing a million portfolios and shops, I chose Ghengis based on her style, detail and creativeness. After a few email exchanges and our video consultation, I knew I had made the right decision.

When I went in for my appointment, I immediately felt at ease. The shop was clean and uncluttered. She was on time, and had drawn up a near perfect image of my vision. She was very professional and made sure I was comfortable while working efficiently. After 6 hours, I left with most of my tattoo completed and an appointment to return a few weeks later.

Unfortunately, that appointment never happened. The morning of, she text me saying she had an emergency and had to cancel. I understand things happen, but I was disappointed that she didn’t offer any option to reschedule before I left SD. I had to find another tattoo artist in Reno to complete it. I’m content with the final results, but deep down I feel it just wasn’t done the justice that Ghengis would have put into the tattoo. Lesson learned – if you’re a traveler, plan on a piece that can be completed in one sitting.

Berenice is the bomb. Go see her for all your tattoos she’s so professional friendly and easy to vibe with. Will always do a great job and care about your tattoo even after it’s done. 10/10 recommend

Great experience. Really easy consultation and felt like Genghis and I were on the same page the entire time. Chill atmosphere, very experienced artists, and love supporting a local business. Everything was clean, sanitary, and comfortable. Would definitely recommend whether it is your first tattoo or 50th. Artists also were consulting other clients on best ways to execute a tattoo whether that was based on placement, how much hair you have in the area, or skin color showing they had their clients best interests in mind.

Walked in and had an excellent experience. It’s been a few years since I’ve gotten a tattoo. I did a small snake behind my ear and they did a perfect job. Very professional, clean, and precise work. The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxing. I will definitely be coming back in the future.
