I took my out-of-town friend here for a spur-of-the moment tattoo. I was absolutely blown away by this shop and the people who work there. The shop is immaculate, comfortable, and dripping with awesome artwork. Everyone who works there is not only crazy talented, but absolutely delightful to talk to and hang out with. Walt, the owner, is a top-tier tattoo artist. My friend managed to luck out and have him do her tattoo as a walk-in because he happened to have had a cancellation that day. For the rest of her visit, we talked about how lucky she was, because Walt’s talent is otherworldly. I really can’t sing Giant Robot’s praises enough. If you’re looking for a top-quality tattoo designed and executed by highly knowledgeable and talented artists at the top of their field, I strongly recommend Giant Robot Tattoos.

We stopped by Giant Robot while visiting SLC from Chicago to try our hand at the Get What You Get game! Sort of a tattoo roulette if you will. I’ve been wanting a new tattoo for awhile, but wasn’t sure what to get…and this was such a fun way to pick one! We had a blast doing this. The energy was awesome in the tattoo shop; everyone was so friendly and helpful (really great guidance on placement of my tattoo), and it was so enjoyable seeing them get just as hyped about us playing Get What You Get. Thank you so much Kristen for your great work…this is the best tattoo I’ve gotten so far! Beautiful line and shading. We have the coolest story associated with our awesome new tattoos. Highly recommend Giant Robot!

The shop itself is super cool! Definitely run by geeks. It’s conveniently located in downtown SLC, blocks from the Delta center.
My artist, Arlene, was fantastic and worked around my busy schedule. Her work was and is incredible and she was quick and efficient.
I’ll absolutely be back in the future!

Walt listens, cares, and is one of the most talented artists I’ve seen. He took a vision of my grandma and made a piece that is very special to me.

Shop is extremely clean and I couldn’t be more pleased with my final product I received.
