I am extremely upset with the result of my tattoo by Marc, so bad that I need to cover it up. So bad that i am embarassed to have it exposed. Marc is a very nice guy but his artistic ability is the problem.
It is my fault for trusting someone who does not have one picture on the internet of his work or even in the studio. He claims to tattoo since he was 16, I believed him, as he answered questions and made suggestions, maybe he’s been tattooing for a few years but isn’t creative or have the skill to execute what you’re looking for. The tattoo he did was daisies, leaves and script, and the way he tattooed the leaves and all the details are comparable to a child learning to draw for the first time. The shading is so bad and uneven. When I got up from the tattoo, I told him that one side of the tattoo was way darker than the other side, he told me it would even out and it never did.
He created his stencil, not by drawing but by copying and pasting from Pinterest everything together. He took 4 hours for a tattoo that could’ve taken someone else 1-2.
He refused to take a tip, he charged me 250$ for 4 hours which is next to nothing, i found it suspicous. I truly believe he saw the work he did and knew it was horrible.
So this was my lesson to never blindly trust a person who can mark you permanently just because they’re a nice person.
Marc can tattoo script fine because the only thing that okay is the script he did in my tattoo and that’s because those lines were traceable.
Think twice before you put yourself in his chair.
