Diablo Rojo Tattoo Customer Reviews:
Shortly after, he told us he was clocking out and pushed us onto one of his coworkers, which wasn’t fair to her.
My anatomy was not checked, nor was there any discussion about my piercings, or the form we signed. She ended up piercing through cartilage instead of my lobe due to my anatomy on one side, which could have been avoided with a proper examination.
When it was time to check out, we realized just how poorly the other employee explained prices to us. I was expecting 70 for the piercings, and ended up paying 144. I am a college student and this was not something I was ready to pay. I do not blame this on the woman who pierced us, but rather than man who brushed us off and messed around until he could clock out; he was not clear on pricing whatsoever, nor were the prices listed anywhere.
We also were not informed about aftercare whatsoever.
I heard good things from this establishment, so I was very disappointed in the atmosphere, as well as the professionalism of the piercers. I am not new to piercing, and therefore understand how the environment and staff should more or less approach this business. What I experienced was not good.
I also recognize the faults in my behavior. I should have not signed the form of consent, as the piercers didn’t meet several of the points discussed in it. Therefore I consented to the poor treatment we received. Let this be a warning to future customers! Make sure you ask about the form, and don’t sign until everything was properly addressed.
I hope that there is an improvement in the communication and approach taken by the staff members with other clients, as this was an experience that was enough to make me not want to return.
(The piercer I had was Emily, and the man who shrugged us off onto her I believe was Mike. Neither are recognized on the website as licensed piercers, which is concerning to me.)
