Ashton is an awesome tattoo artist! He has a unique style that is hard to find in Minnesota. I got my first big piece done by him. I am truly satisfied with how it came out and I plan on booking future appointments/projects with him in the future!

My experience at Deadeye was amazing! Ashton had prepared a gorgeous design but was super willing to tweak a couple details. He also showed me multiple sizes and placements to help me choose what I liked most. He was engaged and thoughtful and created something really lovely. His vibe is also very calming and welcoming, which was super appreciated because I was so anxious. Obviously, the completed piece is stunning as well. I highly, highly recommend Ashton – I’ll definitely be back for more tattoos!

Ashton was very friendly and made me feel comfortable during my tattoo, which was on my pelvis. He was very professional, and the tattoo turned out great! He is located in a private studio which is great for those of us who get overstimulated easily by too much going on. I would recommend Ashton!

His art is really nice and I will say book an appointment months prior because I was trying to get a tattoo by September. Not a bad thing just something to have in mind.

But I made my appointment since august. Very hard to find someone that does embroidery tattoos but he did great!! I am a very difficult person because I talk a lot during the tattoo session because I am nervous but Ashton did a great job on dealing with me.

Thank you for talking to me. The design looks great and the bee!!! The bee and the butterfly is my favorite part. I see you until August again.

I do recommend anyone that is looking for a good tattoo!

Such an unfortunate experience. I had Ashton do a memorial tattoo of a pine tree for me in May ‘23 for my dad who had recently passed. Two weeks after the tattoo was done and healed I told him I was unhappy with it. He scheduled me for a touch up 4 months later. I was unable to come to the appointment because I had Covid. I emailed him as soon as I knew and felt horrible canceling. I was frustrated and disappointed to miss the appointment because I wanted the ugly tattoo fixed so badly. I was tempted to go to the appointment anyway but I knew that was not the right thing to do. He never got back to me and never rescheduled me. I had never missed a prior appointment or correspondence. The tattoo truly turned out terrible and he charged me $500 for an unfinished, out of focus, already faded pine tree. I really feel I was screwed over, and other tattoo artists agree. It’s no doubt his social media shows beautiful tattoos, but my tattoo and my experience fell beyond short of anything satisfying.
