He understood what I wanted to do and instead of going with it…he gave his recommendations and concerns. I decided to go with his suggestion. I’m glad I did! His suggestion makes it possible for color to be added. Can not recommend more for the caring and looking of every tattoo

Sean has been working on my full arm sleeve for just about 18 months, I don’t have one negative thing to say, the place is impeccably clean, The other artist are top-notch and professional but the highlight of the whole operation is Maddie at the front desk, her hard work and dedication to the customers is top-notch. Although my piece is just about finished i’ll be walking away with a high-quality Sean O’Hara piece of art that I am proud of.

I’ve been a customer here for a few years. I can’t recommend them enough. All the staff are not only awesome artists but also nice and approachable. Cleanest tattoo shop I’ve ever been in. I have been to a untalented tattoo artist as well as a mediocre tattoo artist. But Dark Side Tattoo and Body Piercing Llc. was exceptional! I have no affiliation with this company. Sean was such a brilliant business leader. Dark Side tattoo and Body Piercing Llc. was VERY clean/sterile and they had a very large selection of body piercings. The cost for my tattoo was also reasonable.
Unlike some tattoo businesses…Dark Side Tattoo did not try to convince me into getting a tat that I would later regret. They asked me to show them the type of tat I wanted and they enjoyed working with me — and brought out my creative thinking. I am SO happy that I chose these talented artists. Conveniently located on 190 Main Street East Haven, CT (you can’t get anymore conveniently located than on a Main Street.) I cannot say enough about this business and their talent. Lastly as you may know tats are very popular now which means they will
never go out of style. This is my honest and fair review of Dark Side Tattoo and Body Piercing Llc!

My experience at Darkside was upsetting from start to finish. Manny was the tattoo artist I worked with. I spent 1k on 3 sessions and this ONE tattoo was never finished. Worst of all- It looked nothing like what I requested. It was one of the ugliest tattoos I’ve ever seen, no exaggeration. To make it even better, his seating was uncomfortable, he spent 3 hours drawing while I waited and he hit on me the entire time. After leaving crying, Manny texted me that he has “a crush” on me. This was one of the most unprofessional, disturbing tattoo experiences ever. I called the owner who gave me an appointment 3 months out and expected me to pay to fix it, stating he would “work with me”. I never went back and never will. I’d give them negative stars if I could.
