Very unfortunate to find out at 9pm the night before my appointment that it is canceled just because the artist didn’t want to come in and have to wait around the shop for the next appointment in the afternoon. I’m sure based on the other reviews that some of the artists here are great, but that behavior is unfortunate and unprofessional. I took the day off of work for this appointment and they acted as if its inconvenient that I can’t just reschedule the night before like that.

Half done now, we had a hiccup a bit ago. New artist now and an appointment for the First of October. All these artists are awesome! You’ll never be disappointed here.

11/10 shop with amazing artists, so there no need to worry about any infections or anything. I got a tattoo from Brody, and he was perfect for what I wanted and pulled it off amazingly on top of not being awkward and being able to have a conversation without being distracted while he worked. I will be coming here again many, many times in the future, and I can’t attest to their piercings, although I’m willing to bet they do great at that as well. Love the place and highly recommend to anyone new to tattoos or even experienced with it. Can’t appraise this place and it’s employees enough with words but they’re amazing.

I’ve been tattooed on a lot of places by a lot of different tattooers. This is not only the best shop in Boise but it’s one of the best anywhere. All the artists are talented and friendly. They love to help people get just what they want done. I could not recommend Chalice any more highly.
