Great shop with a great vibe of people. Very clean and organized. My wife was supposed to get some work done by the owner, but he ended up having an emergency and the shop apprentice ended up doing the work. She was very talented and it was an awesome interaction all around. The shop is very hidden from the main road (52) so not many people even know it’s there. I’d definitely recommend stopping by and checking it out. I’ll probably be getting my next ink there. My wife had also just gotten off work and everyone there was pretty cool about it.

I’ve had a handful of tattoos over the years. All from different ppl. I’ve never been able to find a consistent artist that I vibe with or that sticks around long enough to put together some tats that work together to make a Cohesive sleeve or combination of designs! Adrien at Black Sparrow is that dude! Also the studio is all around clean, welcoming and organized.

Went for Friday the 13th tattoos. This was my first time at this shop. Great employees everyone was friendly. Maurice did a great job! I love that he took a little more time to make sure I’d get something I really wanted and loved. Definitely one of my favorite spots.

I’ve seen Adrien twice. The first one I had something I wanted and the second I had an idea but no actual design. Adrien took what I wanted (muscadine vine) and elevated it to something more than I could never imagine. The detail on the leaves still catches me off guard sometimes, it’s so beautiful. Adrien is so easy to work with and I have decided I will only go to him to get tattooed – regardless of where he is -as both experiences have been pleasant. The others in the shop seem to be real chill as well, I’ve dealt with him so I know he’s good.

I always go to Adrien and he’s great! He really listens to exactly what you want and execution of the tattoo is top notch. Recently went to their Friday the 13th flash event and they were very organized and accommodating!
