Got an amazing tattoo with Sebastian at the Matthews Black Cloud (insta sebastian__escobart ). He is a wizard!! I went in with a skeleton of an idea and he turned my idea into the most beautiful tattoo I’ve ever seen. Check his instagram for more pictures for the full scale of his scope, I attached the tattoo he did for me here. He does amazing line work and shading. Look at the all the different work he’s done and you’ll realize you can’t go wrong with Sebastian! He’s also super friendly and very easy to work with. This was the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had!
The crew at Black Cloud is, in general, fantastic. I also got to see Diego do a pair of skeleton sentries in full color that were incredible and the female tattoo artist did an 18th century Naval ship that made me a little jealous. All 3 do amazing work but Sebastian came out on top with an amazing Medusa tattoo with the 3 features that were most important to me. The full length forearm tattoo took about 4 1/2 hours and he worked really closely with me in the design process to make sure she was exactly what I wanted. He also did my partner’s full shoulder raven and celtic knot tattoo with color.
My medusa tattoo was a tribute to my experience with SA and the whole crew made me really comfortable. There was 1 customer that asked me about the meaning behind the tattoo a bit awkwardly, so it was perfect to be in a space that otherwise felt safe and calm. Kudos to the whole team for that facet of the experience.

I walked in and was serviced within 30 minutes when there was a line of people ahead of me for piercings. I had Amanda do a double eyebrow piercing for me and she did a wonderful job as well as made me feel very comfortable and entertained while I was there. The energy was great here! Nearly a week in and my eyebrow is healing nicely too.

EDIT: Recently returned to this place and got a triple vertical helix which I had seen from one of the piercers named Erin. Erin did a fantastic job on my piercing and made me feel very comfortable and I was well informed by the staff that my choice to do spikes could lead to healing complications from my hair. The staff here are all super knowledgeable and kind and I’ll definitely be returning!

My friends and I had a great experience here! Diego did a great job on our tattoos and was very skilled and had us done in no time. The prices were very reasonable too, and we were able to get scheduled during the same week we contacted Black Cloud. I forgot the name of the other long haired gentleman who was with him, but both of them were great and talked to us like we had been friends for years. I definitely will be back.

Amanda was great! I had my cartilage pierced years ago and the aftercare was excruciating when I went to sleep. No one told me the best way to sleep at home. Amanda was patient with my questions and gave me tips that were more than helpful. I will be back to finish the remaining piercings!

Joan (pronounced John) is AMAZING! I lost my little guy and wanted a Memorial tattoo. I was just praying that it would look close to him, but I was floored by the result. It’s only been 2 days, but all my family and friends were blown away as well. He spent an hour just to get the ears perfect! He predicted 3-4 hours from the beginning and finished up right at the 4 hour mark.
