I found the artist, Basil, through social media. She takes photos/images/memories of the client and converts them into abstract geometric patterns that just capture the eye. I had to have a tattoo from her. When I inquired by email, I got a response within and hour and the tattoo appointment was scheduled within a day of initial contact. The design wasn’t started until I got to my appointment but Basil took the time translate the images I gave her into her style. She even gave me two option to choose from and allowed her and slight increase in overall size from what was initially agreed upon. The tattooing didn’t take too long and Basil was ok with any minor breaks needed and took into account my comfort. After the session was over, she gave me a comprehensive explanation of the care for a hand poked tattoo and saw me out with a friendly goodbye. The whole staff at Bang Bang was friendly and courteous. I haven’t worked with any of the other artists but by just observing, everyone seemed so chill and the vibes overall were great. This is a high end studio and the prices reflect that but they were up front about the costs and you are paying for unique and permanent art. Definitely would recommend Basil and the studio to anyone looking for some high quality work.

Had a fantastic (and fortuitous!) walk-in experience and was lucky enough to work with Jay Shin on a tattoo I’ve wanted for a while. He did a wonderful job quickly and masterfully translating my idea to a design. The tattoo looks excellent and I would absolutely book again. The studio is beautiful and I felt completely comfortable throughout the process. Highly recommend!

Amazing experience getting my first single needle work done with here yesterday. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the studio and facilities are clean and inviting. The artist I worked with was Victor who was awesome. There was great collaboration on the design, and he made adjustments as the work progressed and we discussed it. I couldn’t be happier, and will definitely be a returning client!

I came to Bang Bang to get a commemorative tattoo of my deceased dog. Jay Shin is an amazing artist and the staff made the whole experience excellent. A great check-in experience, a quiet lounge with drinks and snacks to wait while Jay prepared, and a gorgeous and clean artist space. Everyone made the entire day feel luxurious and wonderful and exactly what I needed for a personal experience.
