Kelly did an amazing job with the most important tattoo i have yet. I did so much research before choosing her and I’m so glad I did! She was the friendliest artist i’ve had, her music was fantastic and she made me feel so comfortable. I’ll definitely be coming back to you girl thank you so much!! On 5/30/23 my friends and I got together for some quality time. When we do this, we usually use a local shop and get a tattoo to commemorate our friendship. While The shop itself is a great environment, we waited a long time on the walk in day( over 7 hours for all of us) I had my tattoo done by the apprentice bee. While she was friendly, took her time and was focused my tattoo did not turn out well. Some of The rails fell off, the coloring has faded, it took a long time to heal and was quite painful. This is not my first tattoo. I’ve never had a tattoo take so long to heal.
I was really disappointed.

Got my first tattoo from Miss Kelly, the experience was wonderful! She explained everything thoroughly before we got started and allowed me to ask questions. I didn’t feel rushed at all. I was worried about pain levels and she explained what to expect perfectly and did a little “tester” bit with no ink so I was able to gauge how painful it would be (and it wasn’t bad). We got started and we talked the whole time, it was a very comfortable experience for how new it all was to me. Very grateful! Thanks Kelly. 🙏

My experience with Jai was awkward. While their designs were lovely and ultimately I am happy with my tattoo, the vibe was just not it. They were annoyed when I requested a slightly different placement on the skin and were harsh in the way they corrected my slight movements while I sat to be tattooed. It just didn’t feel like a welcoming or kind environment, which was strange because the business itself seems to present itself as very inclusive. I felt uncomfortable expressing my needs or preferences. The quality of the work was pretty good, though there is some intense scarring and lack of color in one area of the tattoo. I went through the very specific process Jai requires to schedule a touch-up, but never heard back and after two months of waiting, I simply got it touched up elsewhere. The touch up artist was alarmed by the level of scarring.
