Let me start out by saying each artist under this roof is beyond talented and professional. You can feel how badly they want to give their clients an individual experience and piece.
Perfect example would be my most recent sitting with artist Kayla – she took my personality, likes and aesthetic into consideration to produce seriously one of my prized tattoos! She not only made me feel special but so freakin comfortable. It was easy to give her complete trust.
Even my boyfriend said this is his favorite tattoo on me and I have a few lol

Just got a new one today with Kayla. Able to fit me in before I leave on vacation. Even moved up the appointment time a couple of hours. Professional and pleasant. The entire staff once again was fantastic.

Leo and the staff are great. After another place didn’t make time to complete my tattoo I came here. Not only did Leo do an outstanding job but had an appointment for me immediately.

I worked with Kayla and she was great. I came in with a design and she had a vision which turned out to look even better than what I had in mind. I fully recommend this place for your next tattoo.

Got a calf tattoo done by Leo. Absolutely amazing work. Art Club Tattoo and Piercing does great work all around. Professional and patient whether it’s walk ins or appointments.

This was my first tattoo experience, and I’d say overall it went well initially. Everyone is super kind and considerate. Leo was my artist and is the owner, he’s a really nice guy, and his personality really eased me into the whole thing. No complaints there at all. In terms of interactions, the place is great (and is the reason I decided on 2 stars instead of one.) However, as shown in the photo, the tattoo didn’t heal particularly well – which I understand, it’s a finger tattoo, but this goes further than that.

There’s clearly a chunk missing out of the right side of the tat towards the base of my finger, as well as ink loss to the left of the base. Again, it’s bothersome but I wanted to see if they’d be willing to offer a touchup at least at a discounted price (shop minimum is $140 btw, which is relatively hefty.)

They DID mention that touchups are shop minimum, I understood that, that’s their policy. But as a client (who had plans on returning back for future tattoo work) that just needed 5-10 minutes of time for a quick fix up (99% due to the artist’s mistake the first go around) and who would have thrown them at least $60 for their time, trying to charge me the full $140 is absolutely absurd. It was honestly upsetting, considering this was my first tattoo and I was hoping I’d be coming back for more, but that just will not be the case.

This, in my eyes, isn’t how you build a clientele. This is how you make clients lose trust in their artists going forward. I feel slighted, and now I’m stuck with relatively shaky and all-around patchy $140 linework on my finger.

If you plan on going here, be cautious – you will likely not be happy with your tattoo, especially if it seriously requires a touchup (like mine.)
