Absolutely not. I needed a haircut and told her I wanted length and slight layers. She proceeded to just chop off my hair while standing unevenly. After the wash she continued to just cut and cut. I have naturally curly hair. I wear it straight. I don’t even know how this will be fixable. I don’t even know how to describe how upset I am. I paid $40.

I am on my annual family vacation to Nags Head and before I left, I had not been able to book an appointment for highlights and a cut with my regular stylist. Since it was going to be a rainy day yesterday, I figured I would check and see if I could find someone locally to do it. I did a Google search and Perfect Image popped up. I called and spoke to Nhina and was able to set up a morning appointment. When I got to the shop, I was reminded of the shops from way back. The vibe was totally old school. I told her what I wanted and Nhina who is actually the owner and sole employee told me that she thought I would do better with fewer holes pulled in the cap. She was right. She said “I’m glad I didn’t listen to you”! She gave me an awesome cut that was so trendy and not a typical “older lady” look. I am so pleased with my hair that I might have to find a way to come back to see her in 6 weeks or so! I had just met this delightful woman and I felt like I had known her for years. She is that good of a human. We hugged when I left and I told her I was going to sing her praises however I was able. If you need a stylist or maybe want a change, please consider Perfect Image. Nhina is a gem!

I called ahead; Nhina was ready and waiting for me when I arrived. I showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair and less than 30 minutes later I was out the door with my hair cut and styled! Super cute cut, great conversation about travel and lovely attitude and hospitality.

I don’t recommend trying to highlight your hair at home, but if you insist (as I did) you’d better hope Nhina is available to bail you out!! At first she wasn’t sure she should attempt to fix my mess, but she took me on …and I think did a fantastic job!! She is sweet, understanding, personable AND a talented professional. Love my color fix AND cut. She has a rock that says she’s “a beautician not a magician”, but I disagree.

Nhina is amazing!!! I got my hair done elsewhere (color) came to beach for our anniversary weekend and absolutely hated my hair. Cried and had a really hard time with it. I last minute called Nhina with my problem on tears and she accepted me last minute as a walk in appointment and took her time to work with me to figure out how exactly we could fix the issue. One hour later I walked out and felt like a million bucks. She did such a great job and made me feel so much better!!! While I was sitting waiting for my
Color to process another client came in and said he had a wedding to go to in 30 mins could she please help him with a cut – she had him in the chair within seconds and out within minutes. I would highly recommend Nhina as not only is she amazing at what she does but she is an amazing person as well!!
