I have gone to see Jody for 3 tattoos (1 being a full arm sleeve that is 20+ hours) and every time has been an A+ experience.

Clean and relaxing atmosphere. It is his own studio where it is just you and him only (unless you do couples or have a friend come) so you don’t have to worry about being in the same place with numerous artists doing work on their clients at the same time.

No ego or inflated superiority feel like some artists I’ve come across. Laid back, down to earth, very professional and serious about his craft.

Was very open and welcome to my ideas but like any great tattoo artist, he expressed his ideas, explained why, i understood and agreed and every one has been right. They made the tattoos much better for the longevity of the tattoo and visual aspect as well.

The keys to a great artist that I trust is cleanliness, professionalism, open communication and the willingness to work with your client to achieve the best piece possible and I’ve experienced that every session with Jody.

From beginning to end, I felt like I was in great hands. Prompt response for inquiries. I was most impressed of how Jody gave me options and thought of how my artwork would look in the future. The price was right and he fit me in very quickly. He did the artwork much faster than anticipated and it turned out awesome! If I get another, it will be with Jody!

We shared an evening with Jody last night. My daughter designed the tattoo, and Jody added his artistry to perfect them. It was not my first tattoo, but this was the first tattoo that I felt a connection to the talent, passion and pride of the artist. Jody’s calm personality and enthusiasm for his craft absolutely made this experience the best! Thanks for all the sharing Jody! We will sing your praises to anyone who will listen.

I got 4 different tattoos here months ago. I am sorry to say they did not turn out as good as i had hoped. I even ask other professionals for their opinions and they told me the tattoo artists call this a “blowout”. The ink is spread around and it looks like it is bruised and has been like this for months now. I am looking for another tattoo artist to have them covered since removal is so expensive even if my tattoos are small. So after paying $400 for 4 small tattoos i gotta pay even more to get them covered because they are messed up. The comments had me fooled and I had thought it was a good place to get a tattoo. I have been regretting it ever since i walked out of that studio. (you can’t tell a lot because of the quality of the picture but it looks bruised and purple all around the tattoo)

Answer: I got them in 2023 around December using my legal name instead of my preferred one (Yaren). Take it into consideration that with photos the quality always depends on what kind of camera you have, the angle, the lighting etc. The lotus one looks bruised, same with the number 2811, it looks like a child handwriting, i am always trying to cover it up with long sleeved tshirts or concealers. Not only it is purple around it but the lines aren’t even. The north star is bruised (not as much as lotus) but thats the best one out of all 4. The faith writing just looks like a big black line from even a short distance. I get that there might be people trying to harm your business by writing comments that are not true but that is not what i am doing here so should you need more proof i am happy to share. Unfortunately the artist messed up this one.
