It was a nice place originally… We thought the jewelry was very expensive (over $200 for a single earring, not even a pair/set) but my friends and I justified it since they said it was solid gold. However we then found out that it was it’s the front that had a little gold between the gems and the actual post and back was surgical steel which they did not show us. You also have to go back to get a smaller post put in since they pierce with a longer post , and want you to pay more. Definitely not worth the money we spent, would not recommend.

I was initially interested in the unique jewellery designs offered by this shop and decided to book with them to re-pierce my nostril on that basis. I truly believe that the price of the jewellery and the fact that they only offer solid gold (and one other option I cannot recall) pieces that are each usually $200 and up should be disclosed more readily to prospective clients. I had intended to purchase 1-2 more pieces of jewellery beyond the nostril jewellery until I was told that they do not have any plated, filled, or vermeil pieces.

Secondarily, the apprentice piercer who handled my nostril did a lot of fiddling for what had been a straightforward piercing the two other times I had had it done. It was very painful and sore for a few days after, and the post she used was far too long even accounting for initial swelling due to how roughly she handled the area. They charge a fee to change the post to something shorter, and I did not need a longer post because there was not as much swelling as there would have been had they actually had to break skin. In my case, it was a slightly tightened but still open nostril hole that she placed jewellery into.

The gap between the nostril and the jewellery caused by the long post led me to develop some strange lesion that popped and bled profusely for a day. I had never experienced that before with any of my piercings and proper sizing could have prevented it.

I would not recommend this shop to anyone.

Absolutely wonderful, professional staff. The shop itself is bright and clean, with a gorgeous and large selection of jewelry in varying price ranges for every budget. I’ve been pierced by most of the staff now and every single experience has been a great one; they really care to make sure you’re stoked when you leave with your new bling. Thank you for everything Vanity!! You know I’ll be back!!

I recently saw Tine for my 2nd lobe piercing and had such a great experience! They carry the most beautiful jewelry and I love that you can get pierced with the jewelry you want instead of just standard jewelry or barbells. I will definitely be going here for all future piercings!

I got my flat cartilage piercing and pair of lobes done by Tine! She is the most educated and informed piercer I’ve ever come across and made sure i was comfortable with the placement, budget, and overall experience. There are a variety of jewellery options from budget friendly titanium to more expensive options around $1000. You get what you pay for, so if you’d like to spend a little more and rest assured that you’ll be taken care of with quality jewellery, come here and know that all of the piercers seemed very friendly and comforting! Will be coming back in the future for more & for a jewellery change of old piercings!
