Anthony is the tattoo artist to go to hands down, zero debate. Trust and communication is needed with a client and the tattoo artist, Anthony will not fall short in those areas. How he earned my trust is by open communication. He took the time to found out what made ME uncomfortable. I HATE the idea of just walking into an appt and have zero idea what the artist has planned. He understood that, and we made a video call a couple days before the actual appt. Tattoo day arrived and I felt confident going in, knowing Anthony and myself were on the same page.

Not only is his tattoo technique above others, his ability to bring ideas to life, and make them bigger and better is un matched. I started out with an idea of a family of dragons for another forearm tattoo, then an upper arm, but after our sit down, I now have a work of art as a sleeve. I now make friends every where I go now.. which is a running joke between my husband and I because everyone and their mother wants to talk about my sleeve.

I am beyond happy with the results. If you are thinking about getting a tattoo, I hope the following clears anything up for you. Not only was Anthony professional, but the other artist in the studio were also friendly, professional and enjoy trivia which can help the time pass. The studio as a whole, and Anthony’s station is clean, and it is a very safe environment for anyone.

I researched all artists and shops in Asheville before selecting Anthony. We setup an initial appointment to discuss my idea within a couple of weeks and I immediately knew I made the right choice. Anthony asked great questions to discover how best to design my piece and uncover what I really wanted.

I got a 3 1/4 sleeve and it took 4 sessions to complete. Anthony always made me feel comfortable through the long sessions and we had great conversation throughout.

The finished product is beyond my wildest dreams. The custom design from Anthony incorporates two existing tattoos and flows incredibly up my arm. His pre-planning is evident in the final product and I receive daily compliments on the tattoo. Anthony is the man!

Anthony and I first worked together two years ago when I wanted the lower part of my arm tattooed. I kept telling him I didn’t have intentions to ever have a full sleeve but he planned ahead any way. Fast forward two years and I’m back again to get the top of my arm tattooed since he knew me better than I knew myself! The designs fit flawlessly together and the attention to detail that Anthony has is like no other.

I looked for just the right artist for solid year before choosing to work with Anthony – it was the perfect decision. Some descriptive words that come to mind about my experience working with Anthony: calm, easy going, thoughtful, intuitive, creatively inspired, flowing, organic, natural, meticulous craftsmanship, and professionalism. He clearly loves his work!
When we met for the initial consultation, we talked over several ideas I had, the feelings behind the visual imagery, color preferences, style, where the art should go on the body to harmonize with the flow of the anatomy. I felt very comfortable with his artistic style and expertise after studying his artwork online, so I felt confident in his ability to create a custom tattoo unlike any other I had seen online.
We had a pre-tattoo meeting in which we reviewed the initial design and went over particulars. On tattoo day, it was so exciting to see how Anthony had made my idea of two flying swallows come to life, entwined with dogwood blooms, one bird holding an olive branch in its beak. I feel like it just grew onto my arm, and can’t wait to go back in a few weeks to get the colors put in!
Anthony also gives great advice on the healing process. The tattoo healed quickly and comfortably, no oozing past a little for the first 24 hours, no infection, hardly any itchiness, and no peeling (I used the Weleeda Skin Food he recommended for aftercare).
Ten stars, highly recommend!

I wanted to wait until everything was was healed before writing this review. My new art is everything I didn’t know I wanted or needed. I am infinitely grateful for Anthony’s help, discussion, and guidance. My biggest regret is that I wear long sleeves every day at work and don’t have as much opportunity to show off as I would like. Worth every penny and every hour it took.
