Ella is one of the most talented artists and beautiful humans I’ve ever met! She’s tattooed me multiple times. I get so many compliments on her work, even years later. The colors haven’t faded, the lines aren’t blurred, no blowout, no long healing times or scabs. Her skill and technique are top notch. Her pricing is fair (you get what you pay for, cheap tattoos are not going to be good). I have lots of tattoos from over the years, and these are some of my nicest and most treasured!

I hadn’t been tattooed in 20 years but decided to attend Valkyrie’s Twilight flash event a couple of weekends ago. It was such a fun event with raffles and movies. Valkyrie has world-class artists and a clean, green, inspiring facility. They also have trans friendly restrooms! I saw Jan Kim for my tattoo ( @jandruff on Instagram). I have never met such a talented artist who was so down to earth about her work. She worked on me for over 10 hours and I was left with a masterpiece on my leg that I will have forever. Her line work and technical skill is excellent and she really set me at ease during the sitting. There is clearly something special about the team that has been cultivated here. They all are talented and have a cheerful rapport with one another. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, Aadam, and wish I had been able to meet Saga and let her know how much I admire her portfolio. I can’t wait to get another tattoo from this special place. It is hard to decide what artist I want to see next, although honestly Jan is a creative genius and I will likely get more work from her when I return! My sister saw Latesha–I recommend you check out her work as well (@elle_tattooer).

I had the most wonderful time getting tattooed by Kam today! she was so kind and lovely to talk to. everything was clean, professional, and sanitary. the ambience was incredible; the natural lighting, plants, and gentle music made getting stabbed by needles feel like a breeze. and now I have this incredible work of art on my leg! it’s stunning. I can’t stop staring at it! 10/10 would recommend
