Lost Coast Tattoo Studio Customer Reviews:
Solid work but the guys running the place have no respect for customers and no transparency for cost. Place is cash only which they only tell you after the works been done.
After the tattoo was completed in about an hour and a half, my friend clarified the cost, expecting $100 as initially discussed. To our shock, the artist demanded $800. Confused and unable to pay in cash, we were forced to withdraw all of my friend’s saved money from an outside ATM to settle the bill.
Upon reflection and discussions with others, including the artist, we felt compelled to share our experience through this review. Even after acknowledging any possible misunderstandings, the $800 price tag for a relatively simple tattoo, completed in less than two hours and during overtime, struck us as exorbitant. Charging $600 per hour for such work is, in multiple opinions it is outrageously high.
We found the business lacking in transparency regarding pricing, with the cost mentioned only once from across the room. This experience was not only financially draining but also emotionally unsettling for both my friend (18) and me (17). Overall, we our experience needs to be known of.
