Had the most amazing experience with Doe. They listened to my ideas and created a truly magical design that hit every mark that I was looking for and exceeded expectations on just how gorgeous and special it would be. The day of the tattoo , they made a few perfect tweaks for me right on the spot. The tattoo experience was very enjoyable and I’ve never had such painless shading before. Doe Bull is a wonderful artist and a terrific laid-back person. My husband and I were visiting from out of town and wanted to try our hand at getting walk-in flash tattoos or something small. Doe was available for a consult and showed us some of the newest art they’d been working on. We both loved something different and volunteered instantly.

Doe is a great communicator, through our tattoos, chatting about everything under the sun, and answering all the questions we had about the tattoo industry and their artistic process. It was a very comfortable encounter for both of us.

Doe is also very light-handed but efficient artist, making a body part that intimidated me a BREEZE while also being just what I wanted.

I got tattooed by Galen back in late June and it couldn’t have been a better experience from start to finish. The man is super talented, a consummate professional and gave me amazing guidance as a first time tattoo-getter. This was a memorial piece for my late dad and Galen did an incredible job paying homage to the botanical lithograph style I wanted of a coastal redwood. It’s healed up great (everyone told me it’d be so much worse!) and has gotten me no shortage of compliments from loved ones, friends and people on the street. The studio itself was also just a super calming space and helped ease my nerves. If you want a tat done right, go see this guy!

Doe did my son’s birth flower tattoo and it came out amazing. They were so quick at tattooing the whole process only took about 45 minutes. I also asked Doe if they would do my wedding band and they quickly did one for me.

Galen did my husband’s fish tattoo and his also turned out terrific. Galen finished his tattoo around the same time and my husband spoke very highly of his experience. This was his first tattoo and he said Galen walked him through the whole thing.

Two of our friends also got matching opposum tattoos done by Doe. They were happy to fit us all in while we were in town on our annual friends trip.

The shop was clean and nice, ample parking, moderately priced and the artists are amazing. I would highly recommend this shop!

Got my third tattoo, first one from Doe and they are wonderful! Got a flash last minute and I love it. Doe was talkative and very nice to get a tattoo from. Definitely recommend not only them but the other artists at this shop. The vibes at thistle are so good. Doe was very clean, great at their work, and made sure I was comfortable while getting my tattoo. Will be back.
