I love my first tattoo from Patrick! He had two options for me when I came in for the first session and was able to adjust on the spot! Also very patient with me each session and paid attention to my pain tolerance (such a tough spot to get done). I love it so much and will definitely be back for more!! 🦇 Can’t recommend Acorn Tattoo enough!

Patrick made time for me and my family to come in as walk ins on a busy day and did amazing work! The shop was so clean and beautiful and everyone there was so nice! My wife and I loved all the original flash hanging around the shop. I chose a dagger design from the wall. Definitely choose Acorn if you are planning on getting tattooed in Salem!

Acorn tattoo is absolutely AMAZING. If you can manage to get an appointment during October I highly recommend it (this is the route that my friend and I went), but they do take walk-ins during the month, you might just need to put your name down on a list and be prepared to wait to be called back to the shop. The shop might seem a bit confusing to find if it’s your first time in Salem, but once you find your way to Derby Square it’s pretty simple! The studio is gorgeous, clean, and everyone in the staff is kind and amazing! They clearly care about their clients (I have some medical conditions and my blood sugar tends to drop when I get tattooed, so I came with snacks, but they had additional snacks available and provided me with additional water as well to ensure that I had a comfortable and safe experience with them at their shop). Our appointment unfortunately had to be pushed back slightly due to an Artist out and the shop running behind (totally understandable, artists are human and it happens!) and I really appreciate the manner in which it was handled, as I have experienced extreme unprofessionalism at OTHER shops when an artist needed to reschedule, and I also appreciate the fact that my appointment was not rushed and I was treated with the same level of care and attention to detail I would expect out of a tattoo appointment under normal circumstances. The pricing was also beyond fair for what I got while also not forcing anyone to be paid below their worth, in my opinion, which I really admire in a less regulated industry where you frequently find yourself in a situation where clients are overcharged OR artists are being underpaid. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Acorn, but I’ll wrap it up and say that I cannot recommend them highly enough and I absolutely intend to return to be tattooed again by Patrick (and Bill as well, whom I unfortunately did not have the pleasure of meeting on my trip, but his flash looks really neat too).

I am so happy I went to Acorn tattoo for my most recent tattoo! Patrick did an amazing job drawing up my tattoo and was patient while I was trying to figure out the positioning. I will definitely be going back for my next one! He did the two geese, another tattoo artist did the sun.

i’ve gotten five tattoos (so far) from Patrick and am in love with every one! He’s amazing at what he does and is the nicest guy. The studio is so comforting and whimsical too 🙂
