Eric is an amazing artist and does amazing work. I did two sessions with him and he exceeded my expectations. He was great to work with as well. If I could leave him 10 stars I would. I will flat out say you get what you pay for. There’s a reason his books are full and he has a waiting list.

Eric has done 2 beautiful pieces on me. He was one of the most talented artists I’ve ever seen. I even called him a friend for over a decade. As of 2024, this has unfortunately ended. To make a really long story short. He took my deposit, asked for two extra advances due to personal things going on, which I regrettably obliged because I wanted to be kind. He then didn’t show up for our scheduled tattoo appointment. He knew how excited I was for this tattoo and how many arrangements had to happen in order to be able to make this appointment. I was devastated. I then kindly asked for a partial refund (told him he could keep $250 as I wouldn’t be showing up for the 2nd day of our scheduled session due to his no show). I thought that was fair. He declined to return my partial refund. I told him if he didn’t return my money, I’d take him to court for small claims/fraud. Which I did. And I won. HES A SCAM ARTIST. HE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND BOUNCE. Come to find out…he’s done this to HUNDREDS of us. If you’re thinking of getting a tattoo done by him…JUST DONT.

I just want to preface at the beginning that Eric is absolutely one of the best artists in the area. His work is phenomenal, but the compliments sadly end there. While he is one of the most talented artists I’ve seen, he is also one of the most unreliable artists I’ve heard of. From starting hours after our scheduled time, to not having his business in order to where he had no idea when our appointment was. To where putting a down payment of two hours of work, to then being told the price increases days before the appointment. The guy has to pay bills I understand but if he had his stuff in order, my original appointment would have been 200 an hour and not 5 months later now at 250. I have given Eric about 5k of my money knowing he has done great work, but after 5k my sleeve isn’t even done. I’ve heard a lot of stories of people being scammed out of money and I’ve heard there is also the makings of a class action against him. There are people slowly coming out in showing what kind of business he actually runs. He’s be one of the best artists in the country if he was reliable. But anyone thinking about getting a tattoo, I would look elsewhere. It’s really a shame. I know I am not going to go back to get my sleeve done just because of the hassle it is. The issues people have with him spending deposits and holding them for months I don’t think is even legal. I’ve also been told he allegedly doesn’t have a tattooing license as of now. Again it’s a shame but I HIGHLY recommend people going elsewhere for their tattoo, at least until he gets his business in order.

Where do I even start…. Eric is a dishonest artist. He will take your deposit money for appointments and then cancel them until eternity or until you’re sick of waiting. Or move shops, change phone numbers, etc. I have seen him at 4 different locations in the last 2 years. I also paid him for a design ($1200), and he never finished the design or sent it to me and refuses to unless I send him more money. I’m not falling for it again. This has been a 2 year process with him. During this time, I have spoken to 10-12 other customers who he owes money for the same reasons. Most people are hoping he will come through because he is a good artist (he has unfortunately started one tattoo on me), so people are scared to leave reviews. I was too, but he has to be revealed. He also has a drug problem, no drivers license and constant drama that bleeds into his professional life. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s not actually licensed either (update: 2.21.24 he is not licensed to tattoo and hasn’t been for 7+ months) Beware. I would not recommend him or his shop to anyone. It’s a real bummer because as an artist I think he has a ton of potential and I wish he got his life together and could be honest.

This dude is beyond talented, but a horrible person. He will attempt to steal your deposit money as he tried to do to me. I have the Venmo receipts to prove it. He made the right decision and refunded my money, he knew I was about to pay him an unannounced visit to get my money back. The only good decision he’s ever made.
